... was born in a small rural community in County Durham, England. He trained at various tertiary colleges in Art and Design and qualified in the early 1970's. For several years he worked as a freelance designer and exhibited paintings. In the late 1970's he focussed his creativity towards printing and business, initially promoting his own ideas and subsequently broadening the scope to include children's and amateur self-expression. Some thirty years later he still has some involvement with this work by contributing his knowledge and experience. He has held several solo exhibitions and now lives in the North East of England.   He has been interested in exploring a wide diversity of themes, both real and imagined, that are related to Space and Light. He is passionate about enabling people to learn how to see for themselves and insists that his work is essentially a manual to that end. And whilst he is eager to communicate aspects of the intensity, complexity and beauty of a world waiting to be perceived, he nevertheless acknowledges this as a most daunting task. |
